Informational Tours
If you are considering placing your child in the lottery for attendance at Kittredge next year, please come to one of our parent tours (listed below). Call the front office, 678.874.6602, to reserve your seat. We start with an overview of our program, provide time for Q&A, then a finish with a quick tour of the building. All sessions below start at 9:00am and last about 45 minutes.

5th Grade ITBS Results

Please be aware that this year marked the first time that the ITBS in Georgia was scored on new 2005 norms. Until this year, Georgia schools had been scored using 2000 norms. The excerpt below reflects an analysis of the impact of these new norms across the nation - not just in DeKalb and not just in Georgia.
In general, national achievement levels have increased slightly in recent years and the 2005 norms reflect that change. The overall effect is that students today must obtain a higher raw score than students in previous years in order to obtain the same percentile rank, and thus ITBS national percentile ranks (NPRs) based on 2005 norms will tend to be somewhat lower than if they were based on 2000 norms.
However, our scores stayed about the same. That means that our 5th graders performed better this year!

DukeTIP Information
Duke TIP qualification letters and enrollment information will be in courier on Wednesday, 12/9/09. Please note the following:
>Visit the DukeTIP website for more specific information.
>Students are eligible in 4th and 5th grade.
>Your qualification letter will list one score at the 95th percentile or greater to be used for enrollment even though your child may have more than one qualifying score.
>Enrollment begins in January and lasts through March 22, 2010.
>Please email Mrs. Neely with questions and/or requests for fee grant waivers.
